Tech pioneer donates millions to Durham University scholarships

A $4.15 million (£3.235 million) donation from former Netflix executive Neil Hunt will boost scholarships and support entrepreneurship initiatives at Durham University, with a focus on sustainability and diversity in technology.

The contribution will fund PhD scholarships aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, support the Hunt-Raymond Innovation Programme for student entrepreneurship, and create industry experience opportunities for science students.
