North East space conference highlights future success
The North East’s pivotal role in shaping the future of the UK space industry took centre stage at a recent conference in the region.
Over 200 attendees from around the world gathered for the North East Space Conference, organised by Space North East England.
The event not only showcased the sector’s growth but also highlighted the remarkable work already underway in the region and beyond.
The milestone 10th edition of the conference brought together international experts, academics, and industry leaders driving the space agenda forward. Discussions revolved around evolving opportunities in the region’s space sector and the implications of industry growth for local universities.
Topics discussed included the changing opportunities for the sector in the region, as well as looking at what the growth of the space industry means to local universities.
The conference highlighted the work being done on creating an ecosystem for outer space and outlined the changing business opportunities.
