World of Rides unveils new self-drive boats for leisure attractions
World of Rides, based at the Drum Industrial Estate in Chester-le-Street, has launched its latest product – a battery-powered self-drive boat designed for leisure and tourism use.
The RIVIERA Motor Launch seats four people and includes a weather canopy, making them suitable for hospitality venues, parks, resorts, and visitor attractions with lakes or waterways. Even businesses without natural water features are preparing to accommodate the boats, with plans to build above-ground pools ahead of the anticipated high demand in 2025.
The first 15 units were sold to a hotel resort in the Middle East, where they are already being extensively used by guests. The boats’ user-friendly design and modern features are expected to make them a popular choice for leisure operators.
David Robinson, owner and founder of World of Rides, said, “The response to the RIVIERA Motor Launches has been fantastic so far. It’s all about providing an enjoyable, eco-friendly experience for everyone, and we’re proud to offer something that can be enjoyed by guests of all ages.”
