Heel & Toe children’s charity issues appeal to fund specialised therapy
Heel & Toe Children’s Charity, which provides free and subsidised therapy and support to children with disabilities and complex needs in the North East, is appealing for donations.
The charity, based in Pelton near the Drum Industrial Estate, will use the funds to support its specialised Rebound Therapy Project.
Rebound therapy is an innovative form of exercise therapy using a sunken trampoline to help children build strength, coordination, and confidence.
In a show of support, the Mortgage Advice Bureau has pledged to match donations up to £5,000. For every £1 donated, they’ll contribute an additional £3, increasing the impact of each donation.
Mandy Hammond, Community Fundraiser, said: “To make the Rebound therapy service fully accessible and sustainable, we rely on the continued support of local businesses and individuals. Every donation truly makes a difference.”
